  • be more active in your class if you are concerned, volunteer! in the class, in the library- join the PTA.. become aware of whats going on.. you'll never know whats going on if you don't find out the whys of it

  • it depends if the Principle will work with you, some have no time to be concerned with the food, and just make sure there is hot food available.. there is a major funding shortages for most schools in this country.. as more and more is expected from teachers and schools with less and less money

  • it is not a federal requirement.. It is a local school board decision.. my children don't drink milk- they are allowed to get hot lunch occasionally and when they do, they get bottled water.. we are from Northern VA..
